Concert Outfit How-To

Picking an outfit for a concert doesn’t need to be a big production, but if you’re over the top like myself or just want to have some more fun with things but don’t know where to start (or you’re new to the scene) here is an easy how to guide! I will also be including links to items I’ve purchased and reviewed.

There are always so many options with Kpop- is there a theme announced by the band (Keeho asking us to wear pink, Soobin saying blue etc), does the band have a set vibe (or use the vibe of the comeback), or pick your favorite song/music video! There’s always the more out of the box idea of taking fandom jokes or behind the scenes/lives and running with an idea (favorite Halloween dance practice video? Does a member have an obsession with a food or animal?).

Once you have a general idea, I highly suggest going to thrift stores (it’s where the heat is at) and look for things you can use or modify (if you’re crafty). If thrifting isn’t your vibe- sites like Amazon, cider, or SHEIN will be easy places to get inexpensive items for single use ideas (but sometimes they can surprise you and provide some quality items!)

There are some specialty stores that have clothing or accessories that are Kpop related, but keep in mind anything you bring to a concert can (and most likely will) suffer an injury or getting lost.
