ATEEZ Take Two
ATEEZ is my favorite group, so needless to say I could see them in concert 500 times and each time I will have smiled, laughed, danced, screamed, and sang with the same level of enthusiasm. The lackluster experience at Citi Field didn’t hold me down for long, because 2 days later I traveled to DC to see them again.
The DC Venue was Capitol One Arena- one of my favorite venues; located in the heart of Chinatown there is ample good food and cute stores- and you’re close to the mall as well! It’s super easy to make a day (or weekend) out of it. There is lots of good, safe parking nearby- including a garage attached to the Arena itself (though spaces fill up fast!) with food and a Haagen Das to sit at while waiting for merch, collecting and handing out freebies- or visiting the ATINY zone (which was one of my favorite added things on this tour!)
The venue itself is a typical arena- limited food options that are expensive and the bathrooms are soso. But let’s be real, that doesn’t matter when you roll up dressed to the nines to see your fave group!
ATEEZ has always been a group that really gives you a full show- their dancing is awesome and live vocals are always on point (everyone but yes Jongho, we are looking specifically at you). This tour however I really liked the use of dance breaks and theatrics to further the story in the ATEEZ lore world instead of doing VCRs (There is a whole section of this website dedicated to the lore of various groups- HIGHLY recommend reading up on each group and their unique story!). I do think the one VCR used was a nice break from the serious and a very cute and fun side to their personalities.
BB Trippin as always brought extra heat with their dance crew- and I really love seeing how close everyone is since they have been with ATEEZ for so long. You can tell how well they all work together and how much fun they are having on stage!
There is never a downside to an ATEEZ concert. They sound great, they look great, and they always do everything to make sure the fans have a great time. Their ments are always geared towards the relationship they have with ATINY and while my bank account cries when it hears ATEEZ my heart is always full. Here’s to many more nights losing my voice over these guys.
